12.12.2007 - New Year’s Eve in Jazz Town On December 31st, from 11 p.m. till the last minutes of the leaving year, the guests of the club will be sensitized to the holiday mood by Eugene Borets’s JazzTown Band – the leading jazz musicians and vocalists of Moscow will perform popular chartbusters as well as their own compositions. Once the year 2008 comes, after the first New Year greetings, Arlee Leonard, an American jazz vocalist, a successor of jazz vocal classics, such as Ella Fitzgerald and Billy Holiday, but having her own inimitable performance style, will appear on the stage. Arlee will be accompanied by Eugene Borets’s JazzTown Band and then they will pass the holiday baton to the legend of Russian blues rock – Petrovich and his Hot Road Band. The star of New Year Night 2008 in JazzTown, a legend of the 90-s – London Beat band, which became popular due to such hits as “I’ve been thinking about you”, “Come back”, “Crying in the rain”, – will drive the audience by exciting rhythms starting their performance right in the heat of the holiday night. The guests of the club will be treated to a wonderful buffet – traditional New Year delicacies and a wide selection of beverages. The restaurant chefs promise to make everyone happy with the exquisite holiday meal. One of JazzTown’s New Year surprises will be Vassiliy Zhuravlev, a popular presenter of “Russia” channel, who will be the presenter at the party and complete the program with an exciting disco till the morning, turning into a fashionable DJ. Being a real music fan and having a huge collection of modern singles, Vassiliy has managed to become famous as a DJ too. No doubt, the New Year night can’t do without various quizzes, prize drawings and New Year presents. And the merry carnival with confetti and lacets will make the holiday real magic! In addition, all the guests of the club will be able to visit JazzTown Casino free of charge on the New Year’s Eve.
