SHANGRI LA

08.07.2007 - 07.07.07 – One more millionaire in Russia!

On July 7th, in the fashionable casino of “Shangri La”, there was a final drawing of an unprecedented series of lotteries with the prize fund of $3 000 000. That night one of the casino visitors became an owner of a million dollars – the main prize of the lottery.
A money prize of such a scale, meant for one winner, had never been drawn in Russia before. Any “Shangri La” casino guest could become the lucky one – lottery tickets had been distributed among the visitors since August 2006.
A magnificent “Oscar”-award-style show was opened by a famous hip-hop singer, Serioga, with his hit “Million USD”. Then, right before the drawing of the long-expected “lemon” – this is the habitual name of a million dollars, after the previous lotteries where the million had been divided into several prizes – the guests were heated by charming girls from Reflex.
Any of the three and a half thousand ticket owners could become a millionaire, provided that (s)he was present at the event and Lady Luck was benevolent to them. Unprecedented excitement was sensed on the floor during the long spin of the wheel of fortune determining the winner. Once the lucky one was announced, the floor exploded with confetti bursts, and a huge symbolic cheque for a million USD was brought to the stage. Naturally, the new millionaire asked not to disclose his name. Right after the awarding the air was cleared by the fiery performance of Phillip Kirkorov.
The whole event could be witnessed by the guests of “New York” casino connected with “Shangri La” by a two-sided telebridge. There the guests were entertained by the beauties from VIA GRA trio.
