30.11.2006 - “Shangri La” – for healthy lifestyle
 On November 30th, in “Forum Hall” there was an annual ceremony of presenting the Russian award of World Class Fitness for fitness achievements, and “Shangri La” acted as its sponsor.
World Class Fitness Awards are given for professional progress and amateur achievements by those for whom fitness is an integral part of life. This high society party is always accompanied with a luxurious banquet and pop, cinema and TV stars’ performances. Winners in various nominations are awarded with a golden male torso-shaped statuette.
The event started with a welcoming cocktail in the hall and then relocated to the stage where there was a grandiose defile of sports clothes and evening wear. The ceremony was open by Olga Slutsker, the hostess of the night, and after that a tireless joker Igor Vernik went out to the stage (and stayed there) who shared his inexhaustible optimism with the public throughout the whole night. The highlight of the program was a performance of the “Zveri” musical group.
